Eclipsecaravans has been inundated with website and phone enquiries as to the type if jockey wheel we sell.
The Fulton jockey wheel is rated up to 1000 lbs and has a grease nipple to keep the inside components lubicrated.
The customer was not completely satisfied as the jockey wheel was not the same as his 2007 one for his boat.
His internet search led him to a place in Adelaide and Eclipsecaravans.

The four seasons metal hatch is no longer made. Its been reproduced in plastic with radial corners and has been made to fit the old dimensions of 660 x 660 mm….so dont despair if you cannot find one on the net.

Choosing the right size annexe matting

When choosing the size of your annexe matting,make sure you take off 3ft off the length of your caravan.
Alternatively measure the length of your awning and this will often be a correct guide to the length.
This is because annexe matting comes in 3,4,5,6m lengths and standard 2.5m width.
However Eclipsecaravans imports it in huge quantities and are able to cut to fit your RV or caravan or boat.

The size of matting is dependent upon the placement of your front or rear door or what sort of van,motorhome you have.

Table legs

A customer last Mon came in to buy a device which converts his kitchen table in their caravan to a bed.They were going away and needed a table leg.
The table leg is a cyclindrical tube which has a square plate on the top and bottom. Its height adjustable and so gives it the flexibility to convert the kitchen table during the day to a bed at night.
It was so light their yr 5 primary school child was able to hold it and carry it out to their car.

Smoke Alarms

On February 25th this year new regulation from the Environmental Planning and Assessment came into play for caravans,campervans,holiday vans and park van annexes and associated structures.This was that smoke alarns need to be installed in moveable dwellings where people sleep. Most people have been given till 25th August this year to comply otherwise on the spot fines of up to $200 or (or $550 if the matter proceeds to court) will be against the owner of the moveable dwelling that does not have a working smoke alarm installed. In the peiod of 1999-2010,NSW Firefighters have had to attend 692 fires involving moveable accommodation vehicles which resulted in 12 deaths and another 72 injuries.
If the dwelling such as a caravan in the backyard is still used for accommodation then you are still responsible for this change.

Tekonsha P3 Electric trailer brake Control for 1-4 axles.

A customer travelled all the way from Pyrmont to buy this special brake controller and was happy to buy from a brick and mortar palce as opposed to new ones on Ebay. He was quoted more to get the part and was happy to drive here at Penrith and bought standard wheel chocks and a ratchet type towing mirror. The customer was shown various types of mirrors: clip ons and ratchet.

Katoomba and Blackheath caravan Parks

Just sold a fiamma magnum step to a lovely couple who stayed at both caravan parks. They were at Blackheath for 2 nights however the mist was huge so they moved down to Katoomba Caravan Park. They were happy with both caravan parks. Both are owned by council and Katoomba was very quiet, clean, has an onsite park for kids and a short walk to local walks in the area. Katoomba caravan park has cabins and was very spacious. Furthermore, its a short walk to the Skyway which will bring you back to the main tourist hub of the Three sisters. As for the Fiamma magnum step? …..they had left it behind the last caravan park so dont forget the step! We also sell no brand name portable steps which are portable, plastic and lightweight.
